Trip Overview

The origins of this annual carnival can be traced back to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspirators failed in their attempt to blow up the
Houses of Parliament.
The Carnival still lives up to its reputation as the largest and best illuminated procession in the world, with a mesmerising display of colour, sound
movement and overall entertainment.
